The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center has comprehensive treatment programs for all types of cancer, each staffed by experts who work together in multidisciplinary teams to care for the unique needs of each cancer patient.

Disease Treatment Programs:

Blood and Marrow Transplant Program: specializes in providing autologous and allogeneic transplants for cancer patients, particularly those with leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma

Bone and Soft Tissue Oncology Program: specializes in treatment and care for patients with malignant tumors of the bone and spine and with soft tissue sarcomas

Brain Tumor Center: specializes in treatment and care for patients with all types of neurologic malignancies

Breast Evaluation & Treatment Program: specializes in the examination of and treatment and care for patients with benign and malignant breast tumors

Gastrointestinal Oncology Program: specializes in treatment and care for patients with cancers in the digestive system

Genitourinary Oncology Program: specializes in treatment and care for patients with bladder, kidney, penile, prostate, and testicular cancer

Gynecologic Oncology Program: specializes in treatment and care for women with gynecologic malignancies

Head and Neck Oncology Program: specializes in treatment and care for patients with larynx, oral, jaw, and salivary gland cancers

Hematologic Malignancies Program: specializes in treatment and care for patients with malignancies of the blood

Skin Cancer (Cutaneous Oncology) Program: specialzes in treatment of malignancies that involve the skin.

Thoracic Oncology Program: specializes in treatment and care for patients with lung and esophageal cancer and cancers metastatic to the chest

Cancer Center Departments/Divisions:

Medical Oncology/Hematology Program: specializes in providing primary cancer treatment, continuous follow-up, consultations, and second opinions for cancer management

Radiation Oncology: specializes in using radiation (both externally and internally) to treat cancerous tumors

Surgical Oncology: specializes in removing tumors through surgery

Pediatric Oncology: specializes in approaches to cancer treatment for children
